Free Job Seeker Services from American Job Centers
About
American Job Centers (AJCs), also known as one-stop centers, offer free support to help job seekers prepare for and succeed in the workforce. With nearly 2,300 locations nationwide, AJCs provide personalized career services to a wide range of individuals, including youth, veterans, and those recently laid off.
Download the flyer in the Materials section to learn how AJCs support job seekers—and to share with clients as a tool for promoting AJC services. The flyer outlines the many ways AJCs can support your job search and long-term career success through:
- Job Search Tools and Resources: Use onsite resource rooms equipped with internet access, phones, and other tools. AJCs also provide help with resumes, interview preparation, and connecting to job opportunities that match your skills.
- Accommodations and Benefits Guidance: Learn about disability accommodations, unemployment insurance, and how to access support programs such as SNAP or Medicaid.
- Training and Education: Explore upskilling pathways, adult basic education, high school equivalency exams, and apprenticeship opportunities that combine classroom learning with paid work experience.
