Helping Employers Thrive: Business Services from American Job Centers
About
American Job Centers (AJCs), also known as one-stop centers, offer a wide range of services to help employers build and sustain a strong workforce. With nearly 2,300 locations across the country, AJCs provide practical, no-cost support to meet business needs—from recruiting and training to strategy and compliance.
Download the flyer in the Materials section to learn how AJCs support businesses—and to share with partners as a tool for promoting AJC services. The flyer outlines the many ways AJCs can help employers build and sustain a strong workforce through:
- Hiring and Recruiting: Receive help sourcing, screening, and referring qualified candidates for hard-to-fill positions. AJCs also support job fairs and offer space for on-site interviews.
- Training, Education, and Accommodations: Explore upskilling opportunities, industry-recognized credentials, and ways AJCs can help employees overcome common barriers such as transportation or child care.
- Policy and Strategy: Leverage programs such as the Department of Labor’s On-the-Job Training program, learn about labor laws, and access local labor market data to inform business decisions.
