Module #2: What is the purpose of an MOU?

About

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishes the roles and responsibilities of the Local Workforce Development Board, the chief elected official, and the one-stop partners in delivering program services through the American Job Center network.

It is absolutely vital to the local workforce system. But, to be truly customized to a regional economy and customers' needs, it has to include elements that go beyond statutory and regulatory requirements. This is the theme we explore in Module 2 of the Customer-Centered MOU Webcast Series. Additionally, we review how a successful MOU can serve as an effective vehicle to grow your local economy.
