The Vision of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) vision is to increase access and opportunities to employment, education, training, and support services to employment. WIOA aims to promote stronger alignment of workforce, education, vocational rehabilitation, and other human services systems in order to improve the structure and delivery of services to individuals.

WIOA Advisories
We encourage you to visit the Employment and Training Administration's (ETAs) advisories and official WIOA websites for more information about the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which was signed into law in 2014. DOL's official website and their WIOA advisories web page provide crucial information and resources for states, local areas, non-profits and other grantees, and other stakeholders to assist with implementation of the Act. These web pages are updated frequently to reflect newly developed materials, including responses to frequently asked questions (FAQs).

WIOA Final Rules
The U.S. Departments of Labor and Education announced the publication of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act final rules in the Federal Register, on Friday, August 19, 2016. Final rules and corresponding resources are available on this page.
