It is essential that state UI agencies coordinate disclosure of wage records for mandatory performance reporting and for identifying, and measuring the performance of, eligible training providers so the state may comply with WIOA requirements. To facilitate this mandatory data matching, DOL amended the UI confidentiality regulation at 20 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 603 to clarify the definition of “public official” and to explain, within the context of WIOA, the activities that constitute “performance of official duties.” This webinar will cover only the recent amendments to 20 CFR Part 603, providing an overview of the amendments to the UI confidentiality regulation that will make it easier for states to meet their WIOA reporting requirements.
Intended Audience: DOL ETA Regional Administrators, State Labor Commissioners, State UI Directors, State Workforce Administrators (UI)
